I joined Rainbow Six: Siege (aka Siege) during the beginning of Year 8, Season 1.

I assisted both GD and UX designers across three distinct teams: Onboarding, Playlist, and Balancing. My role encompassed supporting their ongoing work and clarifying the design direction for the various co-development teams involved in our projects.

Siege is a game as a service (GaaS), so naturally, we had a regular cadence of content & features. The images below show the promises we made to our players to keep the game going.

These years brought an immense amount of challenge due to the enormous team size of hundreds of developers working together in a co-development environment (~5 Ubisoft studios). The teamwork and coordination were tough, but we managed to bring about incremental improvements to the game to retain and bring back even more players after the pandemic.
